A preparatory meeting will be held on 4th.of March 2025, at 16.45 in the seminar room 1.3 at UBB. At this meeting, all offered projects will be presented. Please, email the course organizer (Ingeborg Lang) if you have already contacted a supervisor for a specific project or in case of any questions.

Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

In this course, students will conduct small individual research projects under the guidance of one of the involved supervisors, embedded in their research groups. This includes a literature survey and formulating a research question and hypotheses, gathering and analysis of the required data, and writing a final report.
Students are advised to inform themselves about possible project themes via moodle and contact potential supervisors before the preparatory meeting.

Assessment and permitted materials

Performance Assessment:
1) Active participation during the project work
2) Written report

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

This course will be graded according to the following:
1) Conducting the reserach project (70 points)
2) Writing a final report (30 points)
More than half of the points are necessary to pass the course
