Aims, contents and method of the course
The human genome, chromosome biology; gene function and regulation; epigenetics; genetic methods and techniques; concepts of human evolutionary genetics and population genetics; anthropological genetics; immunogenetics - human diseases and host defence; neurogenetics - genes in human social recognition/behaviours.
Assessment and permitted materials
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Good understanding of current knowledge of human genomics/genetics; gene functions and regulation; epigenetics; clear understanding of concepts in human evolutionary genetics and population genetics; knowledge about gene-environment interactions; immunogenetics and diseases; neurogenetics and human behaviours; applying the gained knowledge to research questions/problems.
