Aims, contents and method of the course

Former Genetics in Ecology; in this lecture series we will present genetics and epigenetics mechanisms underlying microbial genome plasticity and phenotypic heterogeneity (e.g., hypermutable DNA, mobile genetic elements, DNA methylation, DNA-associated proteins, noncoding RNA, etc), all of which are relevant for evolutionary and ecological research fields.

Digital written exam.
Open-book (all resource materials are allowed, rules of good scientific practice apply)

The exam consists of open questions that need to be answered. There maximum number of points that can be achieved is 20. The exam ist passed from 10 points.
Duration of exam is 90 minutes.
