The lecture series will cover the following topics: tandem repeats, mutagenic break repair, transcription-associated mutagenesis, transposable elements, DNA methylation, Nucleoid Associated Proteins and Histones, regulatory RNA-based systems, genetic noise.

Assessment and permitted materials

Written exam (4 dates).
The exam consists of 10 open questions (2 points each). No aids are allowed.
Duration of exam: 90 minutes.
Grading scale:
19-20 points: very good
