Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

In this seminar the students have to prepare short presentations about subjects related to "evolution and ethics". The oral presentations should be target group oriented. After each presentation, the contents, materials and methods used and presentation style are discussed.

Assessment and permitted materials

obligatory: 1 oral presentations/participant. Additionally evaluated: Ad-hoc contributions (oral and written) incl. contributions to discussions; written summary of oral presentation (fact sheet; incl. methods proposed and literature used).
Minimum requirements for positive evaluation: sum of evaluations of oral presentation, of the fact sheet and of the ad-hoc contributions > 50% of total points.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Increased knowledge on subjects related to evolution and ethics
Facilitation of knowledge based presentation of subjects related to evolution and ethics for defined target audiences
Improvement of didactical skills
