Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

Parasitology in its historical context: The olympic art of surviving in an ancient society as a parasitos, the incorrect reception of the term in Europe in the early 17th Century, the parasite infections of humans and domestic animals in the Antiquity, the Middle Ages and the early Modern Age, the Maleficae-delusion partially resulting from these infections, and the modern prevention of epidemics by means of adminstrative police law execution.
