Aims, contents and method of the course
This course analyses human behavior from an evolutionary ecological perspective, considering the question in how far behavior patterns can be interpreted as adaptations to the physical and social environment. Lecture topics include the social systems of Pan, reproductive and parental investment strategies, and the evolution of language and culture.
