Aims, contents and method of the course
Energy transformation and conservation, Fermentation and respiration, Plant pigments and photosynthesis, Plant-water relations, Signal transduction and sensory systems of plants, impact of environmental factors on plant growth and development, Stress physiology.
Assessment and permitted materials
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Introduction into recent topics in plant physiology and to promote experience in laboratory and analytical techniques. Special focus is laid into the understanding of photosynthesis, respiration, transport and translocation of water and solutes and on the action of environmental factors on plants.
