Verpflichtende Vorbesprechung am Fr., 1.10.2021, 9:15 - 9:30 im ÜR 1.5 Physiologie 1, UBB Djerassiplatz 1, 1030 Wien.

Kurszeiten: jeweils Mo und Mi von 9.00-13.00 Uhr (4.10.2021 - 24.11.2021).
Verpflichtende Laborsicherheits-Einschulung ist am Mo., 4.10.2021, 9.00-13.00 Uhr. Bei Fehlen ist ein weiterer Kursbesuch nicht möglich!

Allgemein gilt in allen öffentlichen Bereichen in Innenräumen der Universität Wien die Mund-Nasen-Schutz (MNS)-Pflicht. Die Universität empfiehlt jedoch, weiterhin FFP2-Masken zu verwenden. Weitere Informationen bezüglich Zugangsregelungen werden laufend ergänzt.
Weiters ist zu berücksichtigen, dass die Lehre aufgrund der Corona-Situation angepasst wird/werden kann. Hybrid Lehre.

Aims, contents and method of the course

Energy transformation and conservation, Fermentation and respiration, Plant pigments and photosynthesis, Plant-water relations, Signal transduction and sensory systems of plants, impact of environmental factors on plant growth and development, Stress physiology.

Assessment and permitted materials

collaboration during the practical class, intermediate testing (multiple choice), written examination to test the acquired knowledge, providing a written protocol

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Introduction into recent topics in plant physiology and to promote experience in laboratory and analytical techniques.
