Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

In different projects behavioural observations - in the field or lab - are combined with physiological measurements such as hormone analyses (e.g. cortisol related to stress or testosterone in terms of reproductive behaviour).
The time management can be (apart from the activity patterns of the animals) coordinated in the group according to individual requirements.
In the first meeting (7. March 2024, 15:00) the projects will be presented by the supervisors, thereafter the participants can choose their preferred project.
The further work is done in small groups with the respective supervisor. On two dates during the semester, all groups meet and report on the progress of their projects (18. April and 27. June 2024, 15:00).

Assessment and permitted materials

Participation during the practical work. Presentation at the online meetings. Writing a final report and a final talk with your supervisor.
