Aims, contents and method of the course

The first part deals with basic concepts of nature and landscape conservation such as biodiversity, extinction processes, conservation biology, ethical background, conservation history (success and failures), and global change, the second part with landscape patterns, landscape types, landscape history, and landscape management, the third with the assessment of biodiversity, methodologies for spatial pattern analysis, and the fourth with conservation measures (protection by law, international regulations, management, restoration).

Modus: multiple choice“; 25 Fragen sind durch Ankreuzen zu beantworten, wobei 0 bis 4 Antwortmöglichkeiten richtig sein können. Jede korrekte Antwort bringt 1 Punkt

50% der möglichen Punkteanzahl (max 100 Punkte).
Notenschlüssel:
Sehr Gut 87 - 100 Punkte
Gut 75 - 86,99 Punkte
Befriedigend 63 - 74,99 Punkte
Genügend 50 - 62,99 Punkte
Nicht Genügend 49,99 - 0 Punkte
