Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
The seminar is designed as a supporting lecture for PhD students and students performing practical courses in the laboratories of the lecturers. The seminar deals with up to date topics related to research project in the participating labs and include student presentations, and specific lectures of research assistants and guest lecturers. The topics are steadily revised and updated and currently include: 1) Molecular mechanisms involved in epithelial dedifferentiation during mammary cancer formation and metastasis, 2) Molecular functions of nucleoskeletal- and lamina proteins and their involvement in human diseases caused by mutations in these proteins, 3) Signaling pathways in cardiomyocyte differnetiation, and 4) Functional analyses of proteins of the erythrocyte membrane skeleton.
