Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
Explain typical approaches in quantitative biology and systems biology and design experiments using these methods. Connect data from quantitative biology and systems biology with heterogeneous biological data sources. Understand basic methods for mathematical modelling, apply these to typical problems in evolutionary systems biology and interpret their results.
Assessment and permitted materials
Written exam of 2 hours. The exam is open book (all paper materials are allowed). A non-programmable calculator may be used.
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
The minimum score to pass can be found in the assignment sheet.
Examination topics
System biology and Omics studies, statistics, mathematical modelling
