Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
In contrast to earlier lecture series under the above heading some changes will take place: To be able to more extensively teach recent and very important results and problems (like enlargement of genomes by duplication, horizontal gene transfer, why such a complexity, "origin of species") knowledge in molecular biology and genetics will be expected. After a short historical overview examples of experiments and data from recent literature will be presented, which will show the development of the hypothesis of evolution to a firm theory able to reject hostile objections.
