Preliminary Meeting on 7 Oct 2016: 11:00 at Übungsraum 6, UZA I. Field work will be conducted between 9-20 January 2017. Within this time period all participants will spend a maximum of 6 full days in the field.
Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
In the framework of this field course birds will be surveyed in city parks to study effects of habitat isolation and fragmentation on species richness and species composition. Participants will learn how to conduct standardized bird surveys and how to apply adequate statistical (especially multivariate) techinques for analyzing community data.
