Parallel to, and based on, the lecture series 878 237 I will use case
studies (real and simulated data) to introduce and train the use of
software packages such as MARK, EstimateS, ECOSIM, and PRIMER. These are
suitable for problems that are commonly encountered in population and
community ecology of animals (and insects in particular).
