Aims, contents and method of the course

Increasing scientific visibility through a great website.
The course will cover 3 major aspects of designing and programming a website:
- Understanding the elements of the language HTML, including short examples;
- Discussion and examples of design principles and rules for internet publishing
- Designing your own Website using one of the major HTML editors.

Assessment and permitted materials

Oral exam: You program your website after the course at home and I will ask you about how you did it.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

The aim of the course is that you understand the basics of how to program and design your own website.

Examination topics

1. Basic command of HTML through examples to allow further learning by yourself.
2. Introduction to an HTML editor and application of most common functions.
