The practical part consists of
- theoretical and practical introduction to selected programs of the Vienna Open Labb
- participation in selected practical courses of the Vienna Open Lab, where students will learn how to communicate with different target groups
- the independant teaching of at least two practical courses of the Vienna Open Lab with different scientific programs and different communication goals

Within a practical course, it will be demonstrated how scientific content and basic biotechnological knowledge and methods can be communicated to different groups of the lay public in an understandable and fetching manner. Major points to observe in such a practical course will be discussed.
