Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
Information concerning the decomposition of easily degradable and resilient natural substrates is presented in a descriptive manner, starting with the basic requests of microorganisms in order to cover their metabolic needs and relating these needs with the substrates they are confronted with in their habitats. Microorganismic functioning and immunologic processes are compared and discussed in order to detect overall rules in decomposition processes.
