Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

Study of various vegetation formations of Ethiopia: wet, evergreen forest (incl. "coffee forests" with indigenous Coffea arabica), species-poor mountain forests; several kinds of deciduous wood- and bushlands; Acacia-savannas; special habitats (vegetation of recent lava flows, salt vegetation (rift valley lakes!), etc.].

Assessment and permitted materials

Excursion participants make daily written notes in the field. An electronic version of these (Word file) will be evaulated after the end of the excursion.
