Aims, contents and method of the course

1. Understand the fundamentals of restoration ecology.
2. Enhance your ability to conduct scientific research
3. Learn to bridge scientific concepts to policy makers.
3. Sharpen your scientific writing skills.
4. Sharpen your ability to orally present scientific information.

Assessment and permitted materials

There is no examination in this course. Evaluation will be based on five different metrics (see assessment criteria below).

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

1. Active participation and attendance of at least 80% of the classes (25%)
2. Submission and quality of the case studies (40%)
3. Report chapter & presentation (20% & 15%)

Examination topics

1. There is no examination in this course. Evaluation will be based on five different metrics (see assessment criteria below).
2. You will not successfully pass this course if you do not regularly attend class and complete each of the assessment criteria.
