The excursions are planned to give a general survey of the rivers running from the Eastern Alps to the foothills and the Viennese basin. The geomorphological situation and the vegetation of the riverine corridor are presented with regard to the EU water framework directory.These excursions complete the subjects of aquatic vegetation presented in the Hydrobotanical excursions of the summer semester (882 475).The final examination is done by presenting a report.
