Aims, contents and method of the course

Human populations underlie biological regulations as well as they are influenced by cultural determinants. Both aspects will be focused concering the effects for human populations. The main theoretical implications and models of human population regulation processes will be presented.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Understanding of the pricipal determinants: Natality, Mortality and Migration. Overview of the state of the art of demographic research concerning human populations.
