Aims, contents and method of the course
Biologists are, in their day-to-day work, regularly confronted with subjects potentially ambigous from the ethical point of view. The lecture takes up fields of conflicting views and intends to provide a knowledge basis for personal or institutional decisions in such situations.

- Examples of biological subjects and themes with potential of ethical conflicts
- Creation of awareness for the necessity of the inclusion of ethical aspects into planning and decision making in the framework of scientific projects
- Provision of a knowledge basis for ethical decisionsThe lectures will be held online. Lecture material will be made available in moodle. Please register for access to the moodle course.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS AND GRADING SCALE:
The written exam will be conducted online. The procedure will be explained in detail in advance.Understanding and application of lecture content to ethical issues in conservation practice.Evaluation (credit key):
