Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

This class will give an introduction to the theory of normal numbers.
More specifically, we will cover the following topics: connection with the
theory of uniformly distributed sequences, measure-theoretic and topological
properties of the set of all normal numbers, construction of normal numbers
(with an emphasis on the construction of normal numbers with special
properties).
