Aims, contents and method of the course

- Basics of Image Acquisition and Follow-up Image Manipulation/Restoration/Processing (Nyquist theorem, point spread function, (de-)convolution; 3D rendering and reconstruction
- Introduction and analysis with professional software packages (Huygens, ImageJ)
- Workshop with hands-on image processing for selected examples to verify and apply theoretical issues
