The phenomenon of parasitism; pathogens (parasites s.l.) of humans; overview of parasites s. str. of humans: Protozoa, helminths, arthropods; hosts, parasite-host relations; infection and infestation; sources and ways of infections and infestations; life-cycles of important parasites; parasitic diseases: overview; malaria, toxoplasmosis, helminthic diseases; basic facts on diagnosis and therapy
