Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Aim of this lecture is to provide a better understanding of functional ecological processes in fish communities based on scientific hypotheses and results. Contemporary ecological theories, ideas and models will be used to highlight the reaction of individual fish and fish communities towards the variability of the environment and which strategies have been evolved to enhance growth, reproduction, mortality-loss and fitness.
