300440 PP Field course: Ecology of floodplain-rivers (2008S)

A seminar (2 h) and a field course (4 h) are part of the project course. In the seminars significant information on the ecology of floodplain rivers as well as recent international publications are presented. The course gives the opportunity to work on demonstrative ecological issues in small student groups. In final seminars the results are discussed. A report, structured like a scientific article, present the results of the fieldwork.
