Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
Tropical rain forests maintain the world's richest terrestrial biota. This lecture series will address how this high biodiversity evolved and how it is maintained. Case studies will demonstrate how species adapted to this tropical environment and how they interact with each other. The understanding of such processes will be fundamental for the management and conservation of tropical forests.
Assessment and permitted materials
The exams are held as written exams. The first exam will take place on April 29, 2021 from 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. either in the lecture hall at Rennweg or in digital form via Moodle. Further details and additional exam dates will be announced in good time.
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
