Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

The subject taught includes basic zoology with systematic principles, differentiation of major organ systems in diploblastic and triploblastic animals, and it treats of the organisation as well as biology of all major animal groups especially in relation to the teaching profession at secondary schools.

Assessment and permitted materials

Schriftliche Zwischenprüfung am 23.11.2018 und am 11.1.2019 (H 1 UZA 1); die Note ergibt sich aus der Summe der Punkte der Zwischenprüfungen und der Endprüfung am 1.2.2019 (Übungsraum 2+3, UZA 1). Ein positiver Abschluss der Lehrveranstaltung wird erreicht, wenn mehr 50% der Punkte erreicht wurden. Notenschlüssel: 50-62% ist "Genügend", 63-75% ist "Befriedigend", 76-88% ist "Gut", mehr als 88 % ist "Sehr gut".

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Kennenlernen der Baupläne ausgewählter Tierstämmen; Grundlagen der Zoologie; Handhabung und Einsatz von Lichtmikroskop und Stereomikroskop sowie Anfertigung von Darstellungen und Verfassen von wissenschaftlicher Protokolle zu ausgewählten Themen.

Examination topics

Vorträge, Demonstrationen, praktische Arbeit mit Lichtmikrokop und Sektionen von Tieren durch die Studierenden, selbsttätige Arbeit durch die Studierenden, Beschäftigung mit relevanter Literatur und selbständige Zusammenfassung von Lehrinhalten
