Aims, contents and method of the course
The student gains extended knowledge about current approaches in Chemodiversity Research, in particular concering evaluation of The student gains extended knowledge about current approaches in Chemodiversity Research, with focus on specialized plant metabolites (“secondary metabolites”). Chemodiversity includes aspects of distribution, biosynthesis, ecological function as well as phytochemical analysis. Scientific papers and actual research are the major topics. Students are capable of discussing respective data scientifically, and of presenting results accordingly.
