Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
This lecture course focuses on the ultimate aspects of animal behaviour, addressing functional and evolutionary questions like why should behaviours be optimized and how could we model the behavioural outcome of a selection process? The aim is to sketch the principles in studying animal behaviour and to get an overview of the main topics and approaches in the field of behavioural ecology from a theoretical and practical perspective.
