Students should learn to work autonomous, to cope with ecological tasks, especially in breeding and propagation of plants as well as implementation of these experiments at school.
Most of the experiments selected can be performed easily at school.

The course deals with plant physiological principles and methods used in nurseries and horticulture. Practical examples are conducted in small groups, results are evaluated and presented.

In this practical class main emphasis is placed on theoretical background (plant physiological, ecological context) and practical application (horticultural techniques) in the following fields:
Germination physiology and allelopathy, plant breeding and cultivation, working mechanisms of phytoeffectors, knowledge and cultivation of indoor and outdoor plants and an excursion to an
