Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
The lecture provides an overview about the various methods of Human Ecology. The research field of Human Ecology is operating at the interface between Humans and Nature and therefore methods of natural science as well as methods of social sciences are implemented. Based on the theoretic conceptualization of an anthropological Human Ecology these methods are presented and evaluated by using practical examples.
Assessment and permitted materials
Written exam at the end of the semester; three more examinations during the following semester.
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Basic knowledge of human ecology; understanding of systems theories
Examination topics
The topics covered in the VO must be understood in their fundamentals.
