Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
What is gender? And why should science be concerned with it? The lecture "Gender in Science" adresses the ways in which gender and biological sciences are intertwined. It focusses on how scientific knowledge and societal ideas about gender are interrelated and asks what that means both for science and society. The lecture will thus offer basic knowledge concerning gender issues in science, but will also leave room for discussion.
