Die Vorbesprechung findet am Donnerstag, 2. März 2023 um 14:15 Uhr im Seminarraum 5.1 statt.

Die Teilnahme (Vertretung möglich) an der Vorbesprechung ist verpflichtend, andernfalls erfolgt eine Abmeldung von der Lehrveranstaltung.

Die Übung findet an drei Tagen geblockt statt.
1) Laborversuche: ein Tag (ca. 9:00 - 15:00 Uhr) Anfang April
2) Beobachtung an Zootieren: ein Tag im Tiergarten Schönbrunn, einer der folgenden Termine wird nach Mehrheitsbeschluss durch die Teilnehmer*innen gewählt, Do. 25., Fr. 26. Mai, Do. 1. oder Fr. 2. Juni der Termin wird in der Vorbesprechung gewählt.
3) Freilandbeobachtungen: ein halber Tag (ca. 9:00 - 12:00 Uhr) Ende Juni in den Blumengärten Hirschstetten (Terminvorschlag Fr. 23.6. 2023)

Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

Different methods of behavioural data collection are trained in projects that are adapted for work in schools. The projects range from observations of domestic animals, to studies in zoos and field observations.

Assessment and permitted materials

Active participation in the field and written reports for all parts of the course.
