Aims, contents and method of the course
Assessment and permitted materials
Evaluation is based on attendance and participation (2/3) and completion of homework assignments (1/3). Attendance is required: two absences (excused or unexcused) will be allowed before your grade is affected, and you must attend at least 6 class meetings in order to earn a passing grade.There will be weekly reading and homework assignments, some of which will include a written assignment to be collected in class. These will be graded and will account for 1/3 of the final mark.

For students who are at any stage of writing a dissertation or diploma/master thesis, or who are just interested in learning more about scientific writing in English. Course work will include writing assignments, and students can receive feedback and advice on their current writing projects and will benefit from discussions of each other's work.
