Aims, contents and method of the course

The course focuses on the educational and didactic aspects of teaching biological and environmental issues to different age groups. The paramount objective is to provide future teachers with the requisite skills for imparting learning content and concomitant values (rather than domain-specific knowledge per se) in a learner-centered situation which gives due consideration to high school students' age, identity, personal and social life.
