Aims, contents and method of the course
The course deals with prepartion and conservation of arthropods, e.g.of insects. Professional techniques as for example stretching of butterflies or pading of grasshoppers are demonstrated. The knowledge of such techniques is an important basis as well for any taxonomical treatment as for preservation and restoration of old insect collections (e.g. in schools).
