Samstag, 5. Oktober 2019:
PILZEXKURSION MAURERWALD
Treffpunkt: 9 Uhr 30 pünktlich am Parkplatz am Ende der Maurer Lange Gasse. Anfahrt mit Straßenbahn 60 (Richtung Rodaun) ab Hietzing (U4) bis zur Haltestelle Maurer Lange Gasse (eine Station nach Haltestelle Maurer Hauptplatz). Danach Fußweg bergauf durch die Maurer Lange Gasse bis zum Parkplatz (ca. 15 min). Alternativ Anfahrt mit dem Bus 60A (Richtung Wien Liesing) von Atzgersdorf bis zur Haltestelle Kaserngasse (Abfahrt in Atzgersdorf bei der Schnellbahnstation).
Wanderung durch thermophile Eichen-Mischwälder an der Grenze Flysch-Kalkstein-Wienerwald. Warme Schuhe und Kleidung sowie Regenschutz mitnehmen! Beim Pilzsammeln bewegt man sich meist nur langsam. Rundwanderung durch den Maurerwald. Fundbesprechung um ca. 13 Uhr am Parkplatz.
Anschließend Fahrt zum Rennweg 14 und Bearbeitung des gesammelten Materials im Übungsraum 2 bis ca. 17-18 Uhr.

This course provides an introduction into the fungal diversity within their habitats. Field work, macro- and microscopical laboratory course, power-point-presentation

Assessment and permitted materials

1. Participation in the excursion, 2. participation in the afternoon lab work. 3. Power point presentation ca. 1-4 weeks after the lab work

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Students achieve knowledge of fungal diversity within their habitats

Examination topics

please bring writing equipment, small collecting boxes, a pocket knife and a hand-lens to the excursion
