Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

Symbiotic mutualisms between plants and ants provide excellent model systems for investigating the ecology, evolution, persistence, or break down of mutualisms. This seminar will give insights into complex ant-plant ecosystems consisting of ants, plants, microorganisms and other important players. Particular focus will also be given to current research projects in this field.

Assessment and permitted materials

compilation of ant-plant research from scientific papers, powerpoint presentation and a 15-20 min lecture

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
