Contents: Historical aspects of the human-animal relationship (hunting, religions, prehistoric extermination, domestication, diseases) up to the present day. Current animal-human interactions, human-animal relationships, animal ethics, animal welfare, animal law

Assessment and permitted materials

At least four exam dates between the end of May 2022 and the end of the winter semester 22/23.
All exams will take place in the form of oral one-on-one discussions online until further notice.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Providing an overview-like picture of previous and existing animal-human interactions; content of anthrozoology.

Examination topics

Lecture for students of anthropology, but also for everyone
other branches of study; documents for the lecture can be downloaded during the lecture (Moodle).
