Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
The PMB Lecture series IV is all about the molecular mechanisms found in plant-microbe interactions. Besides covering different strategies of viruses, bacteria and fungi to attack their hosts, the plant defense mechanisms will be highlighted ending in a comparison between classical and modern plant genetics for obtaining pathogen resistent plants.
