Aims, contents and method of the course
This lecture (Mathematics for Experimental Structural Biology) is dealing with mathematic basics that are required for understanding advanced biophysical methods. Main focuses are: differential equations in chemical kinetics; description of time dependencies in NMR spectroscopy; linear algebra (vectors, matrices); Fourier transform; Laplace transform. Teaching will involve practical examples. Block course. Exercise course directly after end of lecture.
