Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

Practical application of bioinforatical tools and databases in the context
of a tiny research project.
Information retrieval from sequence databases and application of
bioinformatical tools for comparative genomics. interpretation and
presenting of research results.
Course material: Worksheets
Grading: attendance; course work; debriefing.

Assessment and permitted materials

Compulsory attendance; the evaluation consists of different performances: active participation and results obtained, written report, theoretical knowledge including final exam (the percentage of the subgrades will be announced by the course leader); each of the subgrades must have a positive evaluation.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Aptitude in solving bioinformatical research tasks.
