Examination topics
The exam is based on the lecture overheads. These will be made available to students at the end of the lecture via Moodle. To receive a minimum passing grade (i.e. 19 points), a completely correct reflection of information contained in the overheads suffices. For receiving any of the remaining grade points is reached through implementation of learned information, for example by interpretation graphs of a scientific publication. Here a relevant question is given.

Diese Vorlesung ist eine Ergänzung zu Soziale Systeme - Wirbeltiere mit besonderer Berücksichtigung der Mechanismen. Im Gegensatz zu Soziale Systeme - Wirbeltiere mit besonderer Berücksichtigung der Mechanismen, in der hauptsächlich die Wie - Fragen sozialer Systeme behandelt werden, wird in dieser Vorlesung das Warum geklärt. Seit der Entwicklung des Konzepts der Inklusiven Fitness, hat die Erforschung der Evolution von Sozialverhalten große Fortschritte gemacht. Diese Vorlesung behandelt die funktionalen Aspekte des Soziallebens von Wirbeltieren, die auf ökologischen Rahmenbedingungen und reproduktiven Strategien von Männchen und Weibchen beruhen. Es werden unter anderem folgende Themen behandelt: Ursachen, Rahmenbedingungen und Einschränkungen der sozialen Evolution sowie Kosten und Nutzen von Sozialleben. Weiterhin werden Faktoren, die zur Aufrechterhaltung tierische Sozialsysteme beitragen, diskutiert, u.a. inklusive Fitness, flexible Strategien, Kooperation und Konkurrenz, soziale Unterstützung und Helfersysteme.
