Aims, contents and method of the course

This course will give you a survey of vegetation types and a first training in field methods (vegetation relevees or plots) used in vegetation ecology in a natural landscape.

Assessment and permitted materials

Continuous assessment

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Learn and practice sampling techniques of vegetation ecology in different vegetation types such as forests, rock crevices, scree and meadows.

Examination topics

Learn the Florula of the area, practice relevee making, data base input

Necessary equipment: Rain gear, Alpine boots
