Aims, contents and method of the course
The required course for students of Biology and Environmental Protection (Secondary school teachers) gives an introduction to earth history from the early beginnings till recent times. The geological development of Europe and, especially of Austria, is placed into the foreground. Geological maps, instruction materials and a small collection of rock specimen and fossils is presented during the course.
