Aims, contents and method of the course

Fossilisation, principles of stratigraphy. Morphology, mode of life and distribution of fossil animals: Protozoa, Cnidaria, Brachiopoda, Mollusca, Arthropoda (Trilobita, Merostomata), Echinodermata, Vertebrata.

Assessment and permitted materials

Der Übungsteil des Kurses wird über die Zeichnungen bzw. deren Beschriftungen benotet. es werden ausgewählte Zeichnungen beim Zwischentestat und am Ende des Semesters eingesammelt (der gesamte praktische Teil macht 40% der Gesamtnote aus). Am Ende des Kurses wird eine theoretische Gesamtprüfung durchgeführt (diese bestimmt zu 60% die Gesamtnote).
